Here we sit down with the client to gain an understanding of who the client is, their goals for the project, design style, price range, and other basic information. Conversely, our client has the opportunity to interview us and discover if we are the right fit for them. We understand that the best relationships are those that are built on trust and that not all matches are made in heaven, so we strive to make sure that both parties are comfortable working together before the real work commences.

At this point, if both parties determine they would like to work together, we will sign a Professional Services Agreement and get to work on the design of the house and engineering of the grounds. We have a hand-picked group of architects and engineers that we trust, but we are willing to work with your team, as well. This phase starts with determining the initial concept and continues until you have your final construction documents. Throughout the process, our team will work alongside the designers, conducting in-depth plan reviews to ensure that problems are caught before they occur in the field.

Once your construction documents are sufficiently completed and we understand your material wants and needs, we will provide you with a quote to build your custom home. We prefer to work off of a fixed-price construction contract. That places more of the risk on us and motivates us to work efficiently and save you time and money.

Watch your dream become a reality. We will handle the permitting necessary to start the build, source the materials, suppliers, contractors, and laborers that will be responsible for completing the project. Throughout the build process, we will have regular progress meetings and walkthroughs, educating you about how your house will function and keeping you informed of the expected completion date. Depending on the complexity of the build, among other factors, the construction phase can reasonably be expected to last between 6-8 months from the time we break ground to the time we receive the Certificate of Occupancy.

We promise that all of your efforts and patience throughout the process will be worth it. Enjoy your new home with your loved ones, host your friends, and embrace all of the decisions you made. Though we strive for perfection, we recognize that perfect does not truly exist. Houses go through changes over time, especially in the first year. We stand by our homes with a warranty that backs both systems and workmanship and we will provide you with all of your manufacturer’s warranties at closing.
